Monsoon Road trip to Saputara

It’s monsoon and nothing better would the travel junkies would like to do than take a road trip to experience the gorgeous green and the pleasure of rains. I had been on one such amazing road trip to Saputara and I just cant get over it. All thanks to  CEAT Tyres for making our trip a success.

Saputara, a densely forested region in the Sahyadri range is the only hill station in the Dang district of South Gujarat state at an altitude of 1000 meters. The name of Saputara stands for “Abode of the serpents”.

I took a road trip during monsoon in August’13. Truly, a place this is in the nature’s womb with dense forests, green hues with lush flowers, the fog, rains dropping on the leaves.
