If you were in Vadodara and did not taste the famed local dish Sev Usal, sorry your trip was done incomplete. Sev Usal is mixture of sweet, spicy and tangy flavors which is made from peas, indian spices and garnished with Sev. One can have the best sevusal at Mahakali restaurant near polo ground.

Chat Lovers can throng to Alkapuri, near Concorde building, where great chats and other local streets food can be gulped down. Yo Frankie, Tasty Vadapav, Manmohan Samosa, Pyarelal ke kachori,  Sangam Hotel are the various local popular foods places of the city, that are worth trying for. Non veg and egg lovers need not go dissatisfied.
