Restaurant Review – Tropical Spice, Vadodara

Had a team Dinner at Tropical Spice this week.

The restaurant is at the main and busy street Sayajigunj, but because we visited on a weekday, a Tuesday, there was no rush.

We arrived around 8:00 pm. Even after informing them in advance that our team would reach there for dinner, we had to wait for at least 20 minutes for the starters and soups.

We tried Buffet which was priced at 450/rs both for veg and non-veg.

We were a team of 21 and the tables could not accommodate us at one place, so we had to split, which I did not like. The place was clean and looked good. I did not try non veg, had some paneer starters,Soup, Pani Puri, Biryani and moong ki dal ka halwa.

The colours are vibrant. Is this north or south Indian cuisine?

Interesting they have Chinese influence too, I once had Hakka Indian food in Toronto and it was a blend of Moghul and Indian with lots of rice side dishes. Your posts are so colorful.
